This book is a must read for every little aspiring dancer and rapper. Kid friendly approach to explaining the creation of the hip hop era. Great content,Cool graphics,vibrant colors "hip" characters! My 6 and 7 year old daughters liked the clothes. The cartoon format is a winner.

This book was awesome and my kids loved it. This is awesome and I can't wait to read more books I read it to my daughter every night before bed I love being able to support my people and being able to teach and put that into my children's life it made me want to look at the documentary on Netflix on hip hop...great great book

This is not only about supporting my people but I thought the book was cute. I loved all the colors and the wording in the book. It's such a good thing to see characters that portrays the image you see in your own mirror. Keep up the good work and continue to support black business.

I found this book to be very entertaining and informative and it opened the door for my son to ask questions and inquire more about hip hop culture. He was also able to connect the dots between some of his favorite songs and how hip hop made that possible.

This is a great book full of information for older children. It discusses the realities that no one wants to talk about yet breaks it down so that children can understand. It builds pride in African American culture which is something children need to see and read.

5 stars...in a world where the vast majority of children's book are for/about white kids or fail to acknowledge black kids at all, this is a highly welcomed read. I have FOUR little black boys and now I have another go to book I can read with them which allows them to be proud of who they are!! Thank you for this book and please make more!!

I liked how it was a black girl and black boy. I liked there dance moves. I liked how they showed people how to dance and not be afraid.That was my daughter's response when she saw the book and after she read it. Thank you for providing diversity in children's books.

I loved the illustrations they are so vibrant. The books tells how hip hop started and how it went thru different phases to become what it is today. The story is told simply for a child but in a detailed manner.
