I'll come out and say first off that this isn't one of the more explicit yaoi books out there, if that's what you're looking for. What you do have is the first book of a truly hilarious series about some great characters that makes you wait ever so impatiently for each new volume (up to five currently in Japan, and Sublime seems to be doing a good job of scheduling the releases in English as long as there's interest) to see how the relationship between Sato and Yoshida (and that of the people around them) develops over time.I sometimes wonder how much thought the mangaka, Suzuki Tanaka, put into picking out Sato's name, because he is *such* an 'S' - for sadist. He definitely enjoys tormenting the heck out of poor Yoshida - who already has the world stacked against him for being short, considered unattractive and scarred (which is important). Also, for some reason he keeps referring to Yoshida as being his 'favorite' while making the poor guy the target for their female classmates' anger (as Sato is the most popular guy in school). It doesn't take long for one revelation to happen (not to be too spoilery, but something to do with Sato and Yoshida's past), though the mangaka does a good job of not revealing everything in the first volume.This series is a wonderful mix of romance and humor that should have you laughing out loud and going 'aww' a lot, and just feeling plain sorry for Yoshida while egging Sato on. Said humor can be delightfully warped one moment and totally absurd the next - I'll be honest, I never thought that this series would be picked up for English release and I'm so delighted that it was. If you're looking for something a little different (and a bit safer to read in public), please give this book a try.
I was pretty eager to buy this book because I read the description/synopsis and I thought it sounded interesting, well to me personally. And I was not disappointed.The book came perfectly with no defects or rips, perfect condition! I personally really like the art style and the characters are well drawn and PERSONALLY I think Yoshida is ADORABLE like omg! Haha anyway.The story was adorable and all the characters were really likeable. I love Sato’s and Yoshida’s realtionship and I think they are a great pair together. Ypshida gets embarrassed really quickly and it’s honestly sooo cute. I’m like screaming to how far their relationship goes.This book is also hilarious, I found myself laughing constantly. But to be honest, I laugh at almost everything. BUT still I bet you will end up laughing too from the cute and funny moments.But quick disclaimer, if you’re looking for something explicit with sex scenes, this ain’t it chief! This is a shounen ai not a yaoi because well you can’t see any sex scenes, so it’s on the shounen ai side. But if you don’t mind having or reading books without sex, you should read this!Volume 2 is a must have for me and I look forward to buying the other volumes. I will be eagerly awaiting volume 11 hopefully. So i definitely recommend this book!!
I'd like to nit-pick a little before getting to the bone of the matter. I'm a little tired of manga being advertised as yaoi when it's in fact SHONEN AI. The difference is, yaoi has definable sex scenes. Shonen ai implies it, but doesn't explicitly show it. It's not a big deal for me in this case because I knew going in what it was. But I do wish that people would stop masquerading shonen ai as yaoi, because it's misleading to those looking for a good steam session.That aside, I really like this manga. The characters are interesting, the art is attractive, and the plot manages to give you what you look for (in a shonen ai) without relying on stereotypes. All in all, while not ingenious, this is one of the few shonen ai that can hold my attention and actually induce enough desire to purchase and own. (And hide from my parents) I will definitely be buying the next volume.So if you're looking for a nice, light read with some BL to give it flavor, I would highly recommend this manga.

I love it. it's cute,funny and if you like sex in yaoi but don't really want to see them do it this is it but if your a person who love the see and to see everything this well not show you the full sex but it's still a really good yaoi.
I'm so glad to find this series again. I read it a long time ago, and it's still my favorite. They are such a super cute unexpected couple. It is what I love about it.
I'm so happy this got an official release. This is probably one of my favorite yaoi mangas, it gets even better in the later volumes~
